Features:

Portable : The TBAR-I is a small portable Hardness Tester having weight around 1 kg., suitable for testing the hardness of aluminum, aluminum alloys, copper, brass & other materials having hardness from 25 to 150 BHN (10 mm ball / 500 kg. Load)

Easy to Use : No experience required, can be used in any position. The hardness readings is indicated on the dial gauge which is divided into hundred graduations.

Testing : The TBAR-I is best suitable for testing homogeneous materials. For accurate & better results, the thickness of material should be minimum 1 mm thick & minimum 3 mm distance should be kept from the edge of specimen while taking the readings. The testing surface should be smooth. For testing the surface, simply exert a light pressure against the machine, so that spring loaded indenter will penetrate into the material.
